Did you play NFLX with us? We bought both calls and puts today looking for a big move. NFLX is down after hours and we are looking for it to go to $40 this week.
SPY Support $139

Today the markets tried to push down then support held and the market short squeezed back up. The move up does have resistance on the 60 min chart but the fact the market came up off the lows is bullish. Even if SPY comes down into the 139 zone it is still a bullish pattern. Right now is where it feels right to be short because the market has made a move up but the move down is no way confirmed at this point.
The Daily chart might seem extended but the Daily chart is not the chart that is in play. The Weekly and Monthly charts are the ones that are in play so it would still make sense to go higher from an extended condition on the Daily chart. Right now the market is in a zone where it will either break higher if SPY can clear 142 or go down to 139 and suck everyone in short to have a bigger short squeeze from support.
The short trade might feel right but technically it is too soon. This could change over the next two days but for now we would anticipate support to hold around the 139 level

This video was back in 2011 when the market was falling and everyone said the DOW was going to 4k . I said if the market pulled back it would be a good long and both the DOW and the QQQ both pulled back into the support we were looking at them made a move to break the prior highs. The wave from the low noted in this video is still in play. We were called crazy for even saying the market goes back to the highs let alone 17k on the DOW.
We still have to see if we get that high but the DOW is up 2600 points from the low and it could continue higher. The next few days will be important but even if the DOW pulls back to 12,500 it is still bullish

Another Huge Week

In the last post we said the market was coming down into support and that we took our QQQ puts off the table with 100% winner. We were looking for a move back up and we had a huge week with multiple 100% winners.
